Word & PowerPoint: Hyperlinking
There are several different ways to make hyperlinks in PowerPoint. The hyperlink can jump to another slide, a document created in another program or a website. Insert
a hyperlink
1. Save your file. 2. Select the text or picture that you want to act as a hyperlink either by

a Hot Spot/Action button in PowerPoint 1. Go to Slide Show and click on Action Buttons. There is a choice. The icons explain the function.
2. Select the type of button you want by clicking on it and your cursor will change to a cross. 3. Draw the shape on your screen. The following window will appear
automatically. Don't worry about the position and colour of the button - you can
format that later. 4. Click in the Hyperlink to radio button and then on the black down arrow for the following choices 5. You can choose whether to start the action by clicking or simply by rolling your mouse over the link 6. Click OK 7. Double click on the button itself to bring up the Format Autoshape window and you can format it as you would a text box by clicking on the black arrows next to Fill Colour and Line Colour etc 8. One option is to fill the object with your background colour or picture.
