PowerPoint: Using the Pack & Go Wizard
Packing
When
you want to run a slide show on another computer, you can use the Pack and Go
Wizard to pack all the files and fonts used in the presentation together on
a disc. If you intend to run your show on a computer that doesn't have PowerPoint
installed, it also packages the PowerPoint Viewer on the disk. You can
also include linked files and TrueType fonts.
1.
Open the presentation that you want to save to a disk.

On the File menu, click Pack and Go.

Follow the instructions in the Pack and Go Wizard.

prompted, insert another disk

NOTE
The Pack
and Go Wizard compressed a sample presentation from 11,138 KB to
6,020 KB, plus an additional 55KB for the Setup file; while
zipping the same presentation compressed it to 8.691KB. |
Unpacking
If
you have used the Pack and Go Wizard to package your presentation, this
is how to unpack it to view it on another computer.
1 Insert the disk which you copied your PowerPoint
presentation to.
2 In Windows Explorer go to the drive where the disk is located and
double-click Pngsetup.

Enter the destination you want to copy the presentation to

To run the slide show, double-click the PowerPoint
Viewer
5.
Double-click
on the presentation that you want to run.
