Shop Pro 7: Cloning
Use the Clone brush to copy part of an image to another location. You work
with two image areas: the
source,
which is the area you copy from; and
the target, which is the area you copy to.
Setting the Clone Brush Options
1. Activate the Clone brush by clicking its button
2. On tab 1 of the Tool Options palette, set the brush
tip shape and other options
3. Click tab
2 to select a mode from the Clone mode drop down box. The two modes are:
-
Aligned
mode:
the source area moves with the
brush each time you release the mouse
– you make one copy.
-
Non-aligned mode: the source area does not move when you release
the mouse. Each time you release and then re-click the mouse, the starting point
for cloning returns to the source – you can make many copies.
4.
Select the Sample merged check box to clone all visible data. If
the check box is not selected, only the data on the current layer when
the source point was defined is cloned
NB The Clone brush can only be used on a 24-bit colour
or greyscale image.
To confine the cloning to a specific area, create a
selection before cloning.

1.

2.
